Born June 26, 1941, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Fae Strohm Sunday and the late Paul Strohm. She was the wife of Wayne G. Vaughn Sr., her husband of 40 years.
She was a registered nurse at GBMC, retiring in 2001 due to illness.
She was a Girl Scout troop leader in Gamber. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are sons Wayne G. Vaughn II of Hampstead and Douglas P. Vaughn of Finksburg; daughters Ladonna F. Vaughn-Crowl and Malinda K. Rothenberger, both of Westminster; a sister, Joan Schaefer of Reisterstown; a brother, Wayne Strohm of Oklahoma; a stepsister, Rosie Inners of York, Pa.; a mother-in-law, Mildred Linton of Sykesville; and eight grandchildren.
A stepfather, George Sunday, predeceased her.
Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
