In 1951 she married David Kennedy in Milbridge. He passed away 1989.
Throughout the years, Evon worked at the Milbridge fish factory and Wyman's blueberry factory in Cherryfield, and as a cutter at Livermore Shoe. Evon enjoyed dancing, crocheting, watching birds, traveling, going to the ocean, but she especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Wright and her husband Dennis of Jay; three grandchildren, Lisa Hopkins and her husband Eric of Winslow; Gary Wright and his wife Beth of Jay; and Kevin Wright of Livermore; four great-grandchildren, Caitlin Wright, Gary Wright, Jr., John DeWitt and Ryley Wright; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Galen of Chesterville and Francis Wallace of Utah, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her four brothers, Leon, John and Alan Dalot and David Galen.
