Funeral services for Harold F. Boggs, 75, Frankfort will be held Wednesday 11:30 a.m. at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. Carl Jones and Tim Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens where military honors will be performed by VFW Post #4075. Harold died Saturday at his residence.

A native of Norton, Virginia he was a Army veteran of the Korean conflict and spent his career as a maintenance supervisor for Bendix, Kuhlman Electric, Central Screw and retired from Hitachi. Harold was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg where he served as a deacon. He was an avid fisherman and gardener and member of the Central Kentucky Motorcycle Club.

He was the son of Virginia DeBoard and Dayton Boggs and was preceded in death by wife Verma Boggs.

Survivors include his daughters Lavern B. (Felipe) Valdivieso, Frankfort and Sabra B. Maslin (Bus) Bradenton, FL; sons Harold A. and Eddie S. (Rebecca) Boggs, both of Frankfort; brothers Tracy (Lois) Boggs, Johnson City, TN, Danny (Roseann) Boggs, Wise, VA, Roy (Nancy) Boggs, Bean Station, TN and Jeff (Darlene) Boggs, Pound, VA, sisters Paula (Pilgrim) Boyd and Linda Wompler, Pound, VA ; eight grandchildren Cory and Adam Valdivieso, Amanda Boggs, Hannah Maslin, Taylor Boggs, Maya, Caleb and Sofia Maslin.

Pallbearers will be Corey and Adam Valdivieso Donnie Wright, Gary Taulbee, Paul Gayhart and Brad Popp.

Visitation will be held Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
