He was son of Rev. Joseph Cheuvront and Sarah Bollen Cheuvront, born Harrison County, Virginia (now West Virginia in the Good Hope community). He was named for an Elder in the Baltimore Conference, presiding in Clarksburg. It seems his death date has been lost in time and his age at death does not always agree. Some records have him age 11 or 12 and some say he was age 14, but they agree his death followed his father's death. He died Harrison Co., Virginia (now WV in Good Hope community).
