Mr. Thweatt, 88, Almo, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, at 9:55 p.m. at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
He had owned and operated Thweatt Service Station at Almo for several years.
Preceding him in death were one daughter, Katie Rushing in 1975, one son, Edward Thweatt in 1954, and one sister, Clara Thorn. Born Dec. 2, 1915, in Marshall County, he was the son of the late Edward E. (Boss) Thweatt and Audie Mae Harris Thweatt.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Inez Coursey Thweatt; one son, Joe Pat Thweatt and wife, Sue, Almo; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Stone and husband, Pete, Ferndale, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
