Mrs. Norbert Gilsdorf, 78, of Route 1, Elkhart Lake, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 1981, at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, W. Va., where she was visiting a daughter.
Born on July 28, 1902, in the Town of New Holstein, Mrs. Gilsdorf was the daughter of the late Henry and Katherine Dietrich Ramminger. She married Norbert Gilsdorf on Nov. 17, 1934, at New Holstein, after which the couple farmed the Gilsdorf family homestead.
Mrs. Gilsdorf attended New Holstein school and Milwaukee Business College. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, and the Christian Mothers Society.
Surviving Mrs. Gilsdorf are her husband; three daughters. Miss Rosemary Gilsdorf of rural Elkhart Lake, Miss Veronica Gilsdorf of Kenosha and Mrs. Sirous (Martha) Arya of Huntington Beach, W. Va.; one son, Paul of rural Elkhart Lake; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clauda Stier of rural Chilton and Miss Edna Ramminger and Miss Elda Ramminger, both of Madison; and two brothers, Joseph Ramminger of Sheboygan and Othmar Ramminger of Morrisonville.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gilsdorf will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The Rev. Francis Kerscher will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
