BUENA VISTA - Allie Davis Burch, 84, died November 4, 1992 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital ECF. She was born in Amherst County April 13, 1908, the daughter of the late Edward and Irene Tomlin Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard T. Burch, and one daughter, Lowrene B. Wilmer. She was a member of the Oronoco Church of the Brethren. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Rosa) Bradley, Amherst, Mrs. Jean Durham, Roanoke, Mrs. Gary (Rachel) Bowyer, Hurt; four sons, Edward F. Burch, Monroe, H. David Burch and W. McKinley Burch, both of Buena Vista, Emery L. Burch, Baltimore, Md.; 22 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Oronoco Church of the Brethren by the Rev. Earl T. Byers, the Rev. E. Arnold Bradley, and the Rev. Frank Figgers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Lomax Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the Buena Vista Rescue Squad or the Oronoco Church of the Brethren Cemetery Fund.
