Gail Jones Yarborough, 61 years old, beloved wife of Ed Yarborough. She was co-owner and manager of Diamond Jewelers in Spartanburg. After a long and valiant fight, Gail lost her battle due to the side effects of brain cancer on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Gail was a very devout Christian lady who loved life, her family, and friends. Gail was a warm, loving, caring, positive, hardworking, dynamic and vivacious lady who will be forever missed by all of those who loved and knew her.

Gail is survived by her loving husband, Ed Yarborough, and her loving mother, Lucille Jones. She was predeceased by her father, Wilson Jones. Gail is also survived by her three loving brothers, Elbert Jones, James Jones, Jerry Jones, and their families; her loving stepson, Eddie Yarborough, his wife Laura Lynn and their daughter, Olivia.

Gail was 1971 Teenager of the Year at Dorman High School, Editor of the Dorman High School yearbook, and a member of the National Honor Society. She was past-president and chairwoman of the Board for the South Carolina State Jewelers Association, a member of the National Jewelers Association, a certified diamond appraiser and custom jewelry designer. Gail was an intelligent business woman with impeccable character who always wanted to do the right thing.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Mark Williams. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
