Mrs. Fredericka K. Sauer, 81, of Apostolic Christian Home, 7023 NE Skyline Dr., died yesterday at Methodist Hospital.
A resident of Peoria since 1902, she was born Jan. 8, 1888, in Eichelmerg, Germany, a daughter of Fred and Fredericka Spacher Rumbold, and was married to Fred G. Sauer in Peoria Jan. 12, 1905. He died in Peoria Dec. 28, 1925.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marie Schmidgall Belsley of Peoria; and five sons, Fred Sauer, Peoria Heights, Roy J. Sauer, Peoria; Paul Sauer, Chicago; Charles Sauer, Morton; Col Robert Sauer, Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
