After retirement, he lived in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

He enjoyed reading health magazines, collecting rocks, corresponding with friends and relatives, and shopping at Walmart.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Idaho State Veterans Home and Encompass Home Health & Hospice for the excellent care given to Dad during the final three months of his life.

At Dadʼs request, there will be no memorial service. Dad, we love you and wish you well on your journey "To unpathed waters, undreamed
shores," (Winterʼs Tale, Act iv, Scene 4).
