Suddenly December 31th, 1974. Late of 2222 W. Jefferson St. Born in Joliet IL., life long resident.Preceded in death by his parents John and Bertha Harrington (nee Karneboge), his wife Irene nee Kelly (1965), one son John F., Jr. (1962) of Joliet, one sister Mary (Mrs. Edward Peterson, Joliet, 1973), one nephew Marty Harrington (1969). Survived by one son Edward William Harrington, two sisters Margaret (Mrs. Horace Blood) of Rockdale, and Mrs Ellen E. Matthews of Rockdale, two nephews, John F. Matthews and Quin W. Blood both of Joliet,and four grandchildren. World War I Veteren serving in the United States Navy. Was employed by the E. J. & E. Railroad as a Firemen for over thirty years. Was a member of St. Mary's Carmelite Mens Club, Ushers and a Trustee. Joliet Old Timers Baseball Association.


Remains resting at O'Neil's Funeral Home Rt. 7, Lockport where services will be held Friday at 9:30 AM to St. Mary's Carmelite Church at 10:00 AM. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville IL.. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 amd 7-9 PM.
