Mrs. John (Irene) F. Harrington, Sr, 66, of 610 Virginia St., a life long resident of Joliet, died Tuesday, Monday, August 23rd 1965, at Silver Cross Hospital.

She was stricken with an attack at her home and died at Sliver Cross Hospital about an hour after being moved there by the Joliet Fire Department inhalator squad.

Mrs. Harrington, the former Irene Kelly, was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Kelly. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son John Jr.,(1962),and by four sisters and two brothers.

Her Husband John is a retired employee of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway Company.

Besides her husband, John, she is survived by a son Edward William, a brother Joseph Kelly of Gary, Indiana and five grandchildren.

Services will be Thurday at 8:30 AM from the O'Neil's Funeral Home to St. Mary's Carmelite Church, 119 Ottawa St., at 9 AM. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7-10 tonight and from 2-5 and 7-10 PM Wednesday.
