Mrs. Offenbecker age 91 years, loving mother, and grandmother passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Carriage House. She was born on March 23, 1923 in Texas to the late Samuel & Cora (Smith) McDonald. She was a member of the Rhodes Missionary Church. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her four children Linda (Doug) Offenbecker, Ronald (Cheryl) Offenbecker, Jim (Kitty) Offenbecker and Laura (Norm) Lownds, grandchildren; Joel and William Bedell, Matthew and Kim Offenbecker, Adrianne (fiancé Jay DeVilbiss) Offenbecker, Allen (Brittany), and Jeff Offenbecker, Michael and Evan Lownds, 4 great grandchildren, and a large extended family. She was predeceased by her husband William on June 16, 1979 and her son Billy.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday May, 20, 2014 at 11 am at Rhodes Missionary Church with Pastor Brian Dake presiding with burial in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home on Monday from 1 to 8 pm. On Tuesday, Elizabeth will lie in state at the church from 10 am until time of service. In Lieu of flowers those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Rhodes Missionary Church or Michigan State University 4-H Children's Garden.
