Johnnie was married to his soul mate, Martha Ann "Ann" Hoffman, for 54 years. He is survived by his wife, "Ann"; his mother, Geraldine; sons, Steve, Mark, Frederick and Randy; his only daughter, Deanna Queheillalt; sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Arnold Hoffman Sr. and his brother, Steve West. Johnnie was a man of many talents. He could build houses or cars and repair anything, that he put his mind to. In his life he had many jobs, from bartending, T.V. store owner and his last job, as owner of Johnnie's Custom Cabinets. He officially retired 10 years ago, but worked part-time for Uhalt Construction, after retiring. Four years ago he rekindled a passion from his younger days, by purchasing two '56 Chevy's and enjoyed fun outings with his Chevy Limited friends. He was proud to be a lifetime member of the Elks. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m., on Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Greenlawn River Blvd. Graveside services are at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., Bakersfield, CA, Friday, December 23, 1:00 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Kern County Cancer Society.
