Harley Funeral Home remembers Rita Henning in Greenwood, SC. Rita Nell Raines Henning, 55, of 302 Draper Avenue, wife of Robert Henning, died Monday, April 7, 2014 at her home.
Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Verona Lee Grizzell Raines and the late Charles Raines. She was employed by the Leath Correctional Institution and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of the home; a daughter, Carmen Ilcheson and her husband Chris of Piedmont; a step daughter Melissa Brooks and her husband Timmy of Greenwood; a beloved dog, Jazzy; two brothers, Richard and Raymond Raines, both of Greenwood; and two granddaughters.
She had many friends that loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Raines.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
