Doris Robinson Crowell, 79, of Little Rock died Sunday, August 18, 2002. She was married to the late Glen Orvil Crowell on June 30, 1941 for 29 years. Born November 26, 1922, in North Little Rock she was the daughter of the late Reuben Jasper and Carrie Belle Stallings Robinson. She owned and operated the American Employment Agency for 20 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Raymond Robinson and Walton Robinson.
She was survived by daughters Beverly Carol Dumas and her husband William Earl "Bill", of El Dorado and Kerry Lynn Esser and her husband John Eric, of Mabelvale; a brother Carl Robinson and his wife, Louise, of Cabot; a sister, Doloris Canfield of Conway; a special daughter, Sandra Gail Horton of Windsor, Ontario, Canada; a sister-in-law Lil Robinson of Little Rock; a brother-in-law, Charles Canfield of Conway; two grandchildren, William Jason Dumas and his wife, Candy, and Sarah Jane Fuller and her husband John; a special granddaughter, Melanie Rochelle Morrow and a great-grandson William Douglas "Will" Dumas.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2002 at the Chapel of Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Rex M. Horne, Jr. officiating.
Internent will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home (224-8300). Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N. University, P. O. Box 3822, Little Rock, Arkansas 72203 or to the Building Fund of Immanuel Baptist Church, 1000 Bishop Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
