Obituary from Nowata Star June 28 1912 - Mrs Rebecca McCaffree, the aged mother of Geo McCaffree and Mrs Abe DuRussell (Armilda Florence) passed away Monday morning at 9:30 at the DuRussell home on South Hickory street. Mrs McCaffree was 84 years old and her ailments seemed to be due more to old age than anything else. The remains were buried Tuesday in the local cemetery. The funeral services were held at the DuRussell home at 2:00 o'clock and were conducted by Rev Hamilton. Two of Mrs McCaffree's daughters, Mrs W S Pease (Genicoora) of Tulsa and Mrs Wm Ham (Arvilla) of Jenniings Okla were present. There were also four granddaughters in attendance, Mrs Ole Holingsworth, of Wann; Mrs Jessie Farley, Bartlesville; Mrs Maud Simith of Copan and Miss Carrie McCaffree of Bartlesville.
