Helen Stidham of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, died Sept. 15. She was 79 and had previously resided in Montclair. Born Jan. 10, 1926, in Columbia, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John and Nannie (Whitehead) Rector. She married Clyde Stidham who survives.
Additional survivors include sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven Michael and Vicki Stidham of Murfreesboro, Robert Dale Stidham of Montclair, Jeremiah Craig Stidham of Montclair, and Jacob Dale Stidham of Montclair; daughters Cheryl Ann Haefner of Englewood, Florida and Christine Sue Steele of Montclair; and nine grandchildren.
Services were Sept.18 at the Porter Funeral Home in North Salem. Interment was at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Lizton.
