Lavada passed away peacefully in Bakersfield March 17, 2014. She was born in Eufaula, Oklahoma and moved to CA as a teen. She graduated from Kern County High School. She worked for Pacific Bell as a telephone operator until she left to raise her family.
She enjoyed working out at the gym with her friend June, as this was her social hour. Lavada was a big fan of Jack
La Lanne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Reedy Moore; and brother Eddie Hill. Lavada is survived by sons Russell Moore, Greg Moore and his wife Teresa; sister Jean Childers and Husband Bob; brothers Art Ingle, Larry Hill and wife Linda; niece Linda Johnson and husband Larry; and nephews Robert Childers and Bruce Ingle.

Viewing will be held from 4-8pm Thursday, March 20, 2014. Graveside service will be Friday, March 21, 2014 at 1pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
