Azle, Barbara Jean Shumate, a homemaker, died Thursday at her Azle home. She was 54.
Graveside service will be at 3 pm today in Azleland Memorial Park in Azle. Shannon North Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shumate was born in Hallettsville and had lived in Fort Worth area most of her life. She had lived in Azle 20 years.
Survivors: Husband, Bill F. Shumate of Azle; two sons, Terry Edwards Shumate and Johnny Lee Shumate, both of Azle; daughter, D'Anna Shumate of Santa Fe, New Mexico; stepdaughter, Debra Jean Rogers of Fort Worth; brother, John Garvin Edwards of Houston; and six grandchildren.
