She was born in Newbury, England January 12, 1850 and emigrated to Utah with her parents in 1852, residing in Murray since that time.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a counselor in the Grant Ward Relief Society for 15 years and at the time of her death was a teacher in that same organization.
Survivors are seven sons and daughters, William H. Franklin, R. Ray, Guy R, and Rose Reading of Murray, and Charles L. Reading and Mrs. Emma E. Anderson of Midvale; a brother, Albert G. Brown of Crescent; a sister Mrs. Mary B. Henry of Vernal; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Grant LDS Ward Chapel Sunday at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the residence, 440 West Fifty-Ninth South Street, Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
