Ernst Voeltz, 78, Maple Grove farmer, died suddenly of a heart attack this noon at the farm home a half mile north of Reedsville.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the family home and at two o’clock from the St. John-James Evangelical Lutheran church in Reedsville. Burial will be in the west side cemetery in Reedsville.
Mr. Voeltz was born in Germany in 1864 and at the age of 19 years came to the United States. The family settled in Maple Grove. He married Miss Wilhelmina Ziemer and they located on the present farm.
Survivors are the widow; three sons, Leonard of Mishicot, Hugo and William of Maple Grove; daughter, Mrs. Otto Juedes of Maple Grove; and six grandchildren. A son, Richard, died two months ago.
The body will be moved to the Voeltz home from the Shimon funeral home in Reedsville Thursday afternoon.
