Ovella Haese, age 70, of 16928 Hilltop Rd., Reedsville, died unexpectedly at
her home on Wednesday, December 16, 1998.
Funeral Service will be held at NOON on Saturday, December 19, 1998, at St.
John St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville. The Rev. Timothy L. Nommemsen
will officiate, burial will be in the Westside Cemetery, Reedsville.
She was born March 9, 1928, in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late Robert
and Frieda (Becker) Krueger. On September 24, 1949, she married Elroy W. Haese at
Reedsville. Ovella attended area schools and graduated from Brillion High School
where she made lifelong friends. She was a member of St. John St. James Lutheran
Church, Reedsville, Sr. Citizens, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Reedsville.
Survivors include her children; Judy (Mike) Thompson, Milwaukee, Jean (Jon)
Schwalbe, Manitowoc, Jim (Barb) Haese, Reedsville, Debra (Robert) White, Clarksville,
TN.; eight grandchildren, Mike Thompson, Ben, Robert, Rhonda, Blaine, and Ray
Schwalbe, Christopher, Adam, and Sara (Molly) Haese; a brother-in-law and sister-
in-law, Clarence and Dorothy Haese, Reedsville, and many other relatives and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elroy, Roland and Hilda Haese, and Louise
Haese.
Friends may call at the chruch on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
The Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
