Mrs. Emma Gettle, 72 years old, of 532 Broad street, died last night at her home of complications following a one years illness. She was a member of the First Reformed Church and leaves to survive her husband, Hiram Gettle; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Rhoads, of Buffalo, NY; & the following brothers & sisters: Morris Black of Annville; AIfred Black of York; and Mrs. Ida Ruloff, Nazareth, PA. Two grandhildren also survive. Services from Rohland's Parlors, Rev. W.D. Happell of Tabor Reformed Church in charge of the service. Relatives served as pallbearers. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
