Timothy Michael Welsh, brother, uncle and friend, died on April 3rd, 2014 in Portland Oregon. Tim was born in Casper, Wyoming on September 18, 1955. He was the 2nd son and 4th child of Frank and Francis Welsh in a family that grew to include 14 children. Tim moved with his family to Bountiful, Utah when he was about 8 years old. In Bountiful, Tim attended St. Olaf's Catholic grade school along with all of his siblings. Tim attended and graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. After High School, Tim, went to Carroll College in Helena Montana. Tim left Carroll before finishing his degree and went to work for his father.
Tim lived in Los Angeles CA for many years and worked as a cook at a pizza restaurant. While in Los Angeles, He met Sylvia Ann Berroteran Church, who became his partner and companion of 22 years. Tim and Sylvia moved to Portland and Tim got a job working at Wacker Siltronic in their silicon growing operations and finally in their finishing and packaging operations.
Tim loved and was a fan of Colts football, from their start in Baltimore to their rebirth in Indianapolis. He was a dedicated fan! Tim also loved to cheer on the efforts of his nieces and nephews while attending their sporting events.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Frances, brothers John, Frank and Jim and his long time companion Sylvia.
