William P. (Bill) Blocker, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.P passed way the 26th day of March, 2014 in San Marcos, Texas. His loving wife, Kay R Blocker, passed in 2012 and will be interred with him. He is survived by his only child William P. (Binks/Bill) Blocker, III, his wife Patricia and their children Michael Rye and Andrea Rye-Bibby.
Often described as "a doctor's doctor", "Dr. Bill" graduated from Baylor and attended medical school at UTMB. His career began in the service of our country, then going from a country doctor to a respected and distinguished physician, practicing and teaching at the Baylor College of Medicine and the VA Hospital(s). A man who was never interested in money or fame; his entire world revolved around gaining more Knowledge, Medical skills, his Patients, and his Family.
"Doctor Bill" was cremated at his request, with no viewing as he wished to be remembered as the strong, intelligent, and proud man that he was.
