Mr Utter joined the US Air Force serving during WW II, Korean & Vietnam War. He was an air plane mechanic. He retired from the Air Force in 1963. He was a member of Wheaton Church of Christ, VFW Post 4207 & American Legion Post 118. Some of his favorite pastimes were deer hunting, reading, tinkering w/small engines & listening to music.

Mr Utter married Opal 10 Nov 1947. Also surviving are kids: Carmen Wesley Utter w/wife Teresa, Faith Dutra w/husband Ed, & Aleta Motes w/husband Russell; sister Jane Jones; 8 grkids & 10 grgrkids.

Preceding him were his parents, daughter Gloria Anne, plus sisters: Ruth Burdette, Nora Levich, Dorothy Snider & Opal Utter.
