The funeral for Edythe M. Palmer, 85, of Rochester, MN formerly of Oberon, was held on Saturday at Ranfranz Funeral Home in Rochester. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery of Oberon on Monday. She died on 21 Jul 1992 at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Rochester. Rev. Phillip Sarles officiated. The Nelson Funeral Home of Maddock was in charge of local arrangements. Edythe Palmer was born on 29 May 1907 in Oberon to Oliver Clyde Palmer and Edna Hunt Palmer. She was reared and educated at Oberon, ND. She moved to Rochester, MN in 1929 and graduated from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester in 1932. She worked at St. Mary's Hospital as a registered nurse until retiring in 1964. She moved to Maple Manor Nursing Home in October of 1991. She was a member of the Rochester Congregational Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothersEdward Palmer and Glenn Palmer.
