John grew up in the Rocky Ford area and attended his elementary school years there. He enjoyed going coon and squirrel hunting.
John loved the lord and liked reading his Bible. When he was could, he would attend church at the New Mission Baptist Church.
John is preceded in death by his parents William and Noba Lamb; eight brothers, Charlie Lamb, Bill Lamb, Ross Lamb, Jack Lamb, Kenneth Lamb, Henry Lamb, Enoch Lamb and Silas Lamb; and his five sisters, Ruthie Lamb, Beaulah Mahan, Gracie Cantwell, Sarah Sanderson and Clara Nichols.
He is survived by one brother, Frank Lamb and wife Ruby of Twin Oaks, Oklahoma; and sister, Sarepta Stephens and husband Jr. of Anderson, Missouri.
John was a happy person and his laugh will be missed by all those that knew him.
