BANGOR - Elizabeth M. Tryon, 92, formerly of Stillwater Ave., Old Town and wife of the late Theodore C. Tryon, died March 12, 2014 at a Bangor health center. She was born Feb. 14, 1922 in Old Town, the daughter of Gardiner and Florence (Bradford) Smith.
Elizabeth worked at Woolworth's Dept. Store in Bangor for 18 years. She spent her last few years residing at Westgate Manor in Bangor where she received wonderful care and treatment.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Marion Heywood, Helen Powell, Dorothy Mann and by a niece, Elizabeth O'Meara.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. (Bangor Daily News 4/3/2012)
