Jerry grew up on a farm near St. James and graduated from St. James High School. He attended and graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College where he met his wife Debbie.
He had a successful career in the investment business. He spent the majority of his career at Piper Jaffray as a managing director of the municipal bond department.
He enjoyed spending time with his family at the cabin, traveling, biking, golfing, sailing and Lake Harriet.
He was very competitive and never gave up. His passion for flying airplanes led him to "The Angel Flight Program" where he flew people with medical needs to their treatment destination.
He was a loving, devoted and loyal husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was a hands-on Papa to his grandchildren. We will miss him dearly.
