Seth Lee Jr., 78, of 3226 Eldridge Road, Newton Grove, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh.
He was born Oct. 17, 1935, in Johnston County to the late Seth Lee Sr. and Pearl L. Lee. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Nelson Lee, Jimmy Lee and Donald Ray Lee; and sisters, Peggy Lee Ellis and Georgia Mae Lee. He worked in textiles at Erwin Mill and served in the U.S. Army.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. today at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel, Benson. Burial will follow at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Newton Grove. The Revs. Robbie McDonald, Paul Holder and Mrs. Pat Young Godwin will officiate.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Laursdine McLamb Lee; and sisters, Louetta Lee Young and Hettie Rose Lee Hayes, both of Newton Grove, Ruby Lee Hudson of Raleigh and Ila Ruth Lee Massey of Four Oaks.
