GATHOF - John "Jack" Dale, 82, of Taylorsville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on March 30, 2014. Mr. Gathof was owner and operator of Dixie Building and Maintenance Company. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Stephen and Mary Gathof; wife, Jennie Gathof; sons, Michael, Terry and Johnny Gathof; daughter, Kellie Barmore; sister, Pat Livers; and brother, Jimmy Gathof. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Shannon Berrier (Steven) and Dana Estep (Gary); son, Timmy Gathof; grandchildren, Jason, Ian, Chris, Matt, Serenity, Samantha, Rhonda, Isaiah and Zach; great-grandchildren, Jordan and Liam; sisters, Ginger Skaggs, Joyce Grider and Shirley Craddock and brothers, Stephen and Thomas Gathof. Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Friday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Harrods Creek Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1-8 pm at Schoppenhorst.
