ADAMS, Edward Jett, Jr., a resident of Eclectic, Alabama passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at the age 82. Visitation will be Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Prospect Baptist Church. Funeral services are Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Prospect Baptist Church with Bro. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 61 years, Daisy Johnson Adams; sons, Jim (JeAnne) Adams and Johnny Adams; daughter, Angie (The late Frank Turner) Turner; brothers, Joe (Dot) Adams, Pete (Corine) Adams and Frank (Sandra) Adams; sisters, Bobby Jean (Ben) Kyser, Paulette (Chuck) Pickett, and Ann Strickland; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Adams, Adam Turner, Joey Foster, Mike Tucker, Jimbo Quazebarth and Shane Taylor.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions made to Community Hospice in Tallassee. The family expresses a special thank you to Dr. Marcial Mendez and his wonderful staff at Community Hospice.
