The first wedding to take place in Monto was celebrated in All Saints' Church of England last night. The Rev. Nommensen officiated. The parties were Alfred Edward, son of Mr and Mrs Ammenhauser, of Maryborough, and Eva Louis, daughter of Mr R. Davies, of Monto. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Ollie Davies, as bridesmaid, and was given away by Mr C. Carmody. Mr A. King acted as best man. The wedding breakfast was served at the residence of Mr F. Dennien, where a merry party gathered and giety reigned till a late hour.
