Adora went to be with Jesus on March 21, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family in Bakersfield, California. Born on August 16, 1931 in Bell, California to Donald and Gracie Hart. She married Norman Lee Hartnett on February 3, 1949. She wore numerous hats throughout her life, raising 5 children and running multiple businesses. Her true passion in life was running a food bank in Guadalupe, California. She always wanted to share God's love and the Gospel with others. She was honored with the Women of Excellence Award from the city of Santa Maria for running the food bank. She is survived by son Timothy Hartnett and wife Linda, son Thomas Hartnett and wife Katy, daughter Adora Calistro and husband Frank, daughter Lori Harnett-Kanavalov and husband Peter, and son Todd Hartnett. She had seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Norman. A graveside service will be held on March 23, 2013, at Greenlawn Mortuary & Cemetery, 3700 River Blvd, at 11:00 am. Reception to follow immediately afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Flood Bakersfield Ministries, Inc. 3509 Union Ave, Bakersfield, CA 93305, a local foodbank ministry.
