BOMBAY MAN DIES SUDDENLY SUNDAY; RITES YESTERDAY
Funeral services for Anson Foley, 61, of Bombay who died suddenly at his home Sunday night, were held from St Joseph's church, Bombay, yesterday (Wednesday) morning at ten o'clock, with Rev. C. A, Collins, pastor, celebrating the requiem mass.
Burial was made in the parish cemetery there.
In ill health since suffering a heart attack February 19, 1950. Mr. Foley's condition became further aggravated by a kidney ailment in February of this year. Of late his health appeared to be improving and, Sunday he had enjoyed visits from friends and neighbors. Shortly after retiring Sunday evening he lapsed into a coma and passed away within an hour.
Born in Bombay on May 1, 1889, a son of the late John and Sophia Savage Foley. he spent his whole life in that community. He was a barber for 35 years, and custodian of the high school for 15 years until illness forced his retirement. He served Bombay as a justice of the peace for six years. His wife is the former
Miss Loretta LaBelle of Brushton whom he married June 20, 1910 in a ceremony at St Mary's church in Brushton by Rev Fr Mahoney. He was a member of St. Joseph's church, Bombay, and of its Holy

He leaves, besides his wife, two daughters. Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Johnson and Mrs. Gordon (Teresa) Peck, of Brushton; two brothers and two sisters, James Foley. Brasher Falls; Josenh Foley.
