Jae Dean Hanson died peacefully at home March 29, 2014.

Born December 7, 1952 to Carl and Rosalie Hanson, he grew up in Wellington, Utah and graduated from Carbon High School. Jae played the bass in a dance band, owned a hamburger stand, worked in a coal mine, and worked for many years for Bowtie Beverage in Wellington.

Jae was married to Jennette Richens and had one daughter, Heather; married to Debra Ann Barnett and had two daughters, Jamie Ann and Natalee Marie. He then married Jan Peacock Winget in the Manti Temple on January 19, 1991 and has resided in Orangeville since.

He is survived by his wife Jan; children, Heather (John) Martin, Liza (Mike) Roberts, Jeffrey Winget, Jamie (Brian) Straugh, and Natalee Hanson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, whom he adored: Braydon, Quin, Elizabeth, Lydia, Steven, Jonathon, Abigail, Justin, and Braxton. Survived by siblings, Arlene, Loraine, Linda, Kaye, and Brent. Preceded in death by parents and sister Carolyn.

Viewing Tuesday, April 1, 2014, 6:00 to 8:00, at Heritage Funeral Home in Huntington, Utah. Funeral Wednesday April 2, 2014 at Orangeville 2nd Ward building, 12:00 noon with a viewing at the church 10:30 to 11:30.
