Elkhorn--Mrs. Mabel M. McAssey, 90, of 111 S. Wisconsin St., died Thursday in Holton Manor Nursing Home after a long illness.
The former Mabel Morefield was born in Elkhorn Dec. 16, 1882, and after her marriage to Mr. McAssey, the couple lived in Chicago 31 years. Her husband was associated with NBC in Chicago prior to his death. Mrs. McAssey returned to Elkhorn some time ago.
A niece, Mrs. John Small, Ojai, Calif., is the only survivor.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday at Derksen Funeral Home, where friends may call from 9 a. m. Tuesday until time of service. Burial will be in Hazel Ridge Cemetery.
