Gladys Arlene Goff, 80, of Burlington, formerly of Stronghurst, Ill., died at 1:10 a.m. Monday, April 13, 1998, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born July 31, 1917, in Pleasant Plain, she was the daughter of Joseph and Stella Mae Black West. On Nov. 20, 1935, she married Harold Norton. He died Aug. 20, 1956. She then married Furman "Red" Thomas Goff on June 10, 1957, in Hernando, Miss. He died March 25, 1989.
