Fred William Duree, 61, Lewiston Orchards, died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lewiston Thursday evening.
He was born in Marion, Kan., on June 12, 1885, and with his parents, moved to Oklahoma when he was a boy.
On Feb. 4, 1935, he married Lucille Cates at Porterville, Cal., and they moved from California to Lewiston in December 1943. The home in the Orchards is at 9th and Powell. (probably Powers)
Survivin g besides his widow, is a daughter, Louise, 3 and a son, Freddie, 10 months and one brother, George Duree, of Claifornia.
