Luella (Munn) Thompson, 84, a resident of Brockton, formerly of Lisbon, Maine, died at Braemoor Rehab and Nursing Center in Brockton Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011. She was the wife of the late Richard Thompson of Lisbon, Maine. Born and raised in Stoneham, she was a graduate of Stoneham schools. She was a resident of Brockton since 2002. She was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting, painting and gardening. She donated much of what she made to charity. She is survived by a son, Patrick J. Cestone and his wife Carolyn of Brockton; as well as grandchildren, Kristina Hill and her husband Christopher and Melanie Lacsamana and her husband Manuel; and by her great-grandchildren, Madeline and Liam Hill and Katelyn, Taj and Mya Lacsamana. She was the sister of Elizabeth Santospago of Milton and the late Otis Munn, Thomas Munn and William Munn. She was the stepmother of Richard, Sandra, Shirley, Susan and Michael. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be Sunday afternoon, Dec. 18, from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Luella requests that donations be made to the ASPCA, P.O.
