Sarah Hinton is said to be the daughter of Col. John Hinton, Sr. and Mary Hardy Hinton. She married Mark Morgan around 1735.
She wrote her will on 17 Oct 1785. (Abstracts of Wills Recorded in Orange County, North Carolina, Vol. 2, page 66.)
She died in North Carolina in about 1791 when her estate was being probated.
Interestingly she mentions her daughter Anne Hart in her will. Anne otherwise known as "Nancy" appears to have been the Georgia backwoods folk hero Nancy Hart. Sarah's husband Mark had dealings with Benjamin Hart in 1764 and both were listed as witnesses on Henry Sears' will. These documentations seem to indicate that Nancy Hart was not the daughter of Thomas & Rebecca Morgan, but, instead the daughter of Mark & Sarah Morgan. I have yet to see any primary sources that say otherwise.
