Luella Freyling, 84, of Burlington Care Center, died at 750 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996, at Burlington Care Center.
Born Dec. 29, 1911, in Troy Mills, she was the daughter of Lewis and Ida Kint Bergstrom. On June 3, 1928, she married John William Freyling in Independence. He died Jan. 12, 1974.
Mrs. Freyling was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a former member of the Postal Clerks Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Charles S. Freyling of Burlington and John W. Freyling of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Barbara C. Stout of Burlington; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, nine brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Lunning Chapel. There will be no family visitation.
Funeral services for Mrs. Freyling will be at 130 p.m. Wednesday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Evans officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Burlington.
