On Sept. 9, 1950 he married Alice Feusse, and they had five children.
Carl was employed with Dow Corning, as a machinist, until retiring in 1977 after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking and remote control airplanes.
Carl died in the evening of Monday, September 3, 2012, at his residence. He was 89 years of age. His ashes were scattered by his family at a small memorial, with Pastor Lee Rhodes presiding over the service.
