MRS. ELSIE CROOKS
Mrs. Elsie M. Crooks 71, of 114 Bennett St., Hornell, died early Sunday morning (Jan. 12, 1964) at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles Jordon, where she had made her home for the past 7 ½ years.
A native of Springville, she was a former resident of Salamanca and Almond.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ivis Green of Hornell and Mrs. Jordon; one son, William Crooks of Almond; two brothers, Milburn Pond of Hornell and George Pond of Zephyr Hills Fla.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Robertson Funeral Home in Hornell. Funeral and committal services will be held there at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Norman Mead of Spencer Methodist Church Officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery at Almond.
