NEWTON Carrie Lee, 91, of OKC, died Sept. 17, 1988 after an extended illness. She was born in Gainesville, Tx. in 1897, moved to OKC from Ada in 1922. Carrie was a diligent homemaker and gardner, also long time member of Faith Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Newton . Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Crumby of OKC; sisters, Maude Hubbard, Ora Jackson, Pearl Kelling; brothers, Dennis Grady, Ross Grady and Kenneth Grady; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren ; and many friends. Services 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1988, Bill Merritt Bethany Chapel. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
