George Howard Curl, age 91, passed away on March 22, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was born August 3, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Estella Curl.

George served his country proud during WWII. He retired from Grayhound.

As an avid outdoorsman, he often found comfort and solace in the mountains hunting. Duck hunting was his passion and he did it well.

He is survived by Patricia and Stewart Gunderson, Bonnie and Paul Peterson, Terry and Dennis Caldwell, John and Ally Fontecchio, and Tina and Monico Garza, among many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he loved so very much. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Estella Curl, and his wife, Delores Curl.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
