Mr. Glen Bell of Dalton and formally of Tellico Plains, TN, passed away March 21, 2014 surrounded by his loving family, He was 86. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Reba Bell, his parents, Manie and Mamie Bell, brothers, Clarence, Claude, Clifford, Clinton and James Bell, sister Jerldean Tankersley, sons in law, Robert Betts and Donnie Stephenson.
He is survived by his son R. G. Bell of Dalton, daughters, Glenda Betts of Chatsworth, and Freda Stephenson of Dalton, a grandaughter and husband, Carrie and Stephen Hatcher of Chatsworth.
Sisters, Erma Gourley of Maryville, TN, Arlene Rose of Lutrell, TN, Geneva Philpot of South Bend, IN and Jeanette Mallett of Dalton. Brothers, Clyde Bell of Kokomo, IN and Jessie Bell of Chatsworth.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be Monday, March 24, 2014 at 2 pm from the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Souther officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday after 5 pm.
