James Jones is my 2nd great-grandfather. He was born in 1821 in Virginia. He married Mary Tucker, and they had four children (Albert, Harriet, Virginia and Mary Elizabeth). He died on June 5, 1882, in Dalton,Chariton County, Missouri. Given the location of his grave marker at the northwest corner of the cemetery, it's very likely he was one of the first to be buried here.
